Privacy Policy

Saffron processes the photo you choose only to create the requested edit, such as relighting or detail enhancement. For Sunray, the app may derive a person silhouette on your device and send that non-identifying mask with the photo solely to make light and shadows respond naturally to the subject. It is not used for face recognition, identity matching, or biometric identification. During processing, input images, output images, and optional masks are held in temporary memory or isolated temporary files, are not used to train models, and are deleted from the processing service after the request completes.

On-device Library

Saffron stores each finished result and a smaller preview in the app's private storage on your device so you can revisit it in Library. The original photo is not added to this Library. Library items are not uploaded for backup or advertising and remain until you delete them or remove the app.

Service and analytics data

We process an anonymous app installation identifier, subscription status, device attestation, coarse network information, and request counts to operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable. Anonymous product interactions such as paywall views, plan selections, and completed edits are collected only if you turn on Share anonymous analytics in Settings. Analytics is off by default and is not required to use paid features. We do not sell personal information, combine this data with third-party advertising profiles, or use advertising trackers.

Providers

Image processing uses fal.ai. Subscription management uses Apple and RevenueCat. Device integrity and optional anonymous product analytics use Firebase. Each provider processes only the data needed to deliver its service. We require these providers to apply privacy and security protections at least equivalent to those described in this policy.

Your choices

You can stop processing by not selecting a photo, delete results from Saffron's on-device Library, and delete exported copies from Photos at any time. You can enable or withdraw optional analytics consent at any time in Settings. Turning it off stops future analytics collection and resets Saffron's local analytics identifier.
